KosherClock™ V3

The KosherClock™ V3 introduces a revolutionary design with its unique outer sleeve, offering three distinct modes to cater to various needs: Shabbos Mode, Weekday Mode, and Travel Mode. On regular weekdays, effortlessly rotate the outer sleeve to fully access the screen and all buttons, including the Snooze button for added convenience. As the sacred day of Shabbos approaches, adjust the outer sleeve to allow visibility of the screen while rendering all buttons inactive, ensuring compliance with Shabbat restrictions without any concerns about Muktzah. The ingenious design includes an automatic alarm shutoff after one minute, seamlessly integrating practicality with adherence to Jewish traditions.

For those on the go, the KosherClock™ V3 has a dedicated Travel Mode. Simply rotate the outer sleeve to cover both the screen and buttons, safeguarding your KosherClock™ V3 during travel and preventing any unintended interactions. This innovative timepiece combines functionality with a thoughtful approach to Shabbat observance and travel convenience, making it an ideal companion for individuals seeking a versatile and reliable clock solution.

Rabbinical Approvals:

The KosherClock has been approved by major Rabbis concerning its use on Shabbos when used in the following manner:

  1. Battery installation, setting of time and alarm must be done prior to Shabbos.
  2. Some poskim say that alarms set to go off during Shabbos must be set via the standard “beeping” noise and not the recorded alarm. Many poskim say that you may use the recorded alarm feature on Shabbos. Please ask your local Rabbi for his opinion.
  3. Alarms that go off during Shabbos cannot be turned off manually by the user. The alarm will stop on its own after 1 minute.
  4. No buttons should be pressed during Shabbos.
