Chodesh Tov from Kosher Innovations!
We're happy to remind you that Saturday, December 20th and Sunday,
December 21st are Rosh Chodesh Tevet.

Tevet is a two day Rosh Chodesh, which begins Friday night, and ends Sunday night.
|
Please remember to add Yaale v'Yavo in your Tefillos and bentching after meals beginning Friday at sundown until Sunday night. And don't forget to say Al HaNissim in your bentching and Shemoneh Esrei during Chanukah.
|
Many have the custom to mark Rosh Chodesh with a festive meal and reduced work activity. The latter custom is prevalent among women.
|
Important note: Special portions are added to the daily prayers: Hallel (Psalms 113-118) is recited -- in its "FULL" form (because it's Chanukah)-- following the Shacharit Amidah prayer, also Yaaleh V'yavo is added to the Amidah and to Bentching; the additional Musaf prayer is said. (when Rosh Chodesh is Shabbos, special additions are made to the Shabbat Musaf and dont forget Al Hanissim) Tachanun and similar prayers are omitted.
