We're happy to remind you that Monday, June 15th and
Tuesday June 16th, are Rosh Chodesh Tammuz.
Tammuz is a two day Rosh Chodesh, which begins Sunday night, and ends
on Tuesday night.

Please remember to add Yaale v'Yavo in your Tefillos and bentching after meals beginning Sunday night, and ends Tuesday night.
|
Many have the custom to mark Rosh Chodesh with a festive meal and reduced work activity. The latter custom is prevalent among women.
|
Special portions are added to the daily prayers: Chatzi Hallel (Psalms 113-118) is recited following the Shacharit Amidah prayer, also the Yaaleh V'yavo insert is added to the Amidah and to Bentching (Birkat hamazon/Grace After Meals); the additional Musaf prayer is said (when Rosh Chodesh is Shabbat, special additions are made to the Shabbat Musaf). Tachanun is omitted.
